Hi all,

I have a vintage UCM CBUS from about 2005 (Cbus 5.66 label on U1 and CBUS Sim is 1223/4).

A few questions have sprung to mind re this UCM

1.) Wil this work with Comfort II? Are there any known Faults?

2.) what additional features does the current UCM offer over the one i have?

3.) Given the answer to question 1 is yes then i can wait until the UCM version similar to KNX UCM is released but what would this actually give me in terms of new features? There was a previous post that implied there would be advantages to this UCM. When might this see the light of day?

Thanks

Paul

Old UCM/Cbus will work with Comfort 2, subject to any known bugs see forum http://www.comfortforums.com/forum85/1750.html

The next UCM/Cbus will be able to assign  counters flags and sensors to Cbus addresses and also support other appications besides Lighting and security

But they tell me it is still some way off so it is better to keep using the old one for now
