I understand the LSM01 light sensor module is no longer available.  I think this is a great shame - sunrise/sunset times are all very well but the time that you want lights to turn on and curtains to be drawn etc is critically dependant on the weather not just sunset.  Is there an alternative?

We have several of the old light sensors in our stores -  please be aware i was never really happy with them they gave us more trouble than they were ever worth.
You wil be aware that C2 has an astral clock..

I'm happy to sell you one of the original light sensors for £10 + p&P

Just email me personal message.....

I tried a couple of light sensors which were terrible, for one reason or another, but the one I'm using now which has been faultless is a Vista VIR300PC Photocell switch. Oddly enough I found the documentation for this just the other day so I happen to have it in front of me. It's quite bulky, and it glows at night when it flips to night mode, but it's been completely reliable while mounted up under the soffits externally.

A web-site URL at the bottom of the sheet mentions http://www.vista-cctv.com but a quick search on their site doesn't reveal it I'm afraid.
