Cytech have been quietly working on a new user interface for the Android Tablet App.

This is an updated user interface with some functional improvements

It is not quite completed yet, but those who are using the current app can take a look and give their feedback

Download the apk file (zipped) from http://www.cytech.biz/android_tablet_app.html
Unzip the apk file and copy into your tablet. The apk file is an installer. Tap on it and select Install.

This does not replace the existing Comfort Tablet app. Both can coexist at the moment in the same device

System Requirements:
Comfort 7.xxx
UCM/ETH03 or UCM/ETH02 7.048
Android OS 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich)

Some screenshots are shown below

This is the login page

This is the setup page with easier data entry fields

This is the Dashboard which is the landing page after you log in
Dashboard on the left shows Trouble conditions if any, otherwise the tick means all is well. If there are any trouble conditions, a red bar will open below one of the categories. The Zones states are seen in the centre. On the right, the Alerts area shows any alarm conditions which are active

Press the Security symbol on the top of any page to arm or disarm

If there are any open zones when arming, you can choose to cancel the arming or to force arm and auto bypass the open zones.

This is the control page, where you can see the state of your lights and appliances

If there are any group or scene, the icon shows "View Actions" which will show the acions available. There is no status shown for  the group or scene controls for obvious reasons

In Cameras page you can see up to 4 cameras. The in-app view is supported for certain cameras. the External IP Cam viewer app can also be selected.

Please help me ! I have some questions, Can you answer me ?
1. Now, I'm using Logic Engine. At the same time, 2 or more users can not connect to CM9000-LOG. It is quite inconvenient. In my project, I have 5 Ipads (fixed in wall, always open Comfort app) and some smartphones, how do i connect to CM-LOG from all devices, from anywhere ? Because if i want to connect to it, i need log out Comfort app on the ipad (or smartphone) which is connecting to CM-LOG. It is not same the WEB :(
2. I don't know why sometimes, I use new app to control but it works unstably. Which's Firmware I need to fix it ?

As I understand it there is currently a limit if one device connected at a time to the ucm erh but this is changing with the new ucm eth03?

You should set a timeout on your eth module sonthst they time out after idle for thirty seconds or so, that would help?

Correct, you need the UCM/ETH03 which allows 2 simultaneuous connections

This should be enough for most situations as you rarely would have 5 people controlling the system at one time
You can buy  another 1 or 2  UCM/ETH03 to allow all to connect at a time especially if it is a large house with a big budget

You say the new app is unreliable, which firmware are you using.
Please send details to support@cytech.biz so we can investigate

The UCM minimum firmware for the new app is 7.048
You can upgrade to the latest UCM firmware by following instructions in http://www.comfortforums.com/forum92/3400.html

You need to have an Internet connection

You should also upgrade to the latest Comfort or Logic Engine Firmware in the same way
