Hi,
since I updated my firmware on my Comfort II I get a battery warning every 24 hours. I have disconnected the mains and the system goes onto battery power so it looks like the battery is OK. The battery is about 5 years old. Do I need to change a setting on the new firmware or buy a new battery?

Normally a battery should need to be replaced every 3 to 5 years
Do a battery test by pressing F31 on the keypad
This turns off the mains and testes the battery for 2 minutes
If the battery is low it will report battery warning
The low battery warning should not be due to firmware

I had a similar problem on my test rig a few months ago and it started failing battery tests each morning and I could see nothing obviously wrong. Battery looked healthy too.
Probably not the case here but mine turned out to be a bad connection of battery wire into pcb socket; I just reseated the cable to fix. Not saying that would be case here but if you've also played with cabling recently then maybe also worth a check.
