Before Setup, you must ensure that your iPhone is connected to the correct WiFi network ie the same as your UCM/Eth03. Note that  by connecting your Comfort system to a WiFi network you are potentially opening up a potential security vulnerability. Ensure that your Wifi network uses the highest level of  security which is appropriate. Accessing Comfort from the Internet exposes the system to additional vulnerabilities.

Setup on iPhone
After installing the app on your iPhone, in Comfigurator, go to File>  Convert cclx file for iPhone/iPad/Android (2nd Generation). This links to  a  website to convert your cclx programming file to a format that can be used in iPhone/iPad

http://www.cytech.biz/crl_comfort_app_convertor.php

Enter a name and email address that can be accesed on the iPhone and browse for  the cclx file.  Then select iPad/iPhone(2nd Gen)/Android and click "Upload File".
Note: DO NOT use gmail as it does not accept the format of the email message. Please use a non-gmail email client

On the  iPad and open your E-mail client, DO NOT open E-mail by browser, it will not work by browser!! Next, look for the E-mail titled "Comfort Conversion Service" and tap on the attachment (the converted file with jcrlccip extension).

A message appears with option to select which app to open in, select "Open in Comfort iPhone"

The next screen gives you an option to select a configurations in the iPad app. You can add new comfort systems in Setup. Initially you will see "Default". This can be renamed as required.

Select the configuration to load data, then it will show" configuration data loaded" , next press "SETUP" and select the corresponding configuration.  The IP Address and Port in the cclx file (in Options > Settings > UCM Connections) will be automatically loaded.

System Name
Enter Name for comfort system, i.e. Room, Home, Office

Internet
Enter IP address and Port which allows you to access to Comfort remotely by internet.

LAN
Enter IP address and Port to access to Comfort locally by LAN.

Password (Below LAN)
The user code is saved so you do not need to enter it when logging in locally (by LAN). You will be required to enter the code when connecting by Internet for security reasons

Open Cameras With IP Cam Viewer
This  is a 3rd party application to access the IP cameras. If you select this option, going to the cameras page will leave the Comfort app and launch the IP cam viewer app. Management of the IP cameras will be by that app, so the IP address and Port will not be used. The Cytech App does NOT support cameras by itself

The connecting status on the bottom should show connected if the Internet/LAN button has been selected correctly and the IP address, Port number are correct. If not, it may show Data Error. If the “connected” status is shown, press the button “Login”. If you enter the password in SETUP for this comfort system, then you can log in without entering password (for LAN connection only)

The Dashboard shows the state of the alarm system. The Zones indicates state of Security zones, "on" in red  means zone is open while "off" in white  means closed. The Alerts shows any alert triggered.

On the top, you can see the current mode of the system which is "Security Off". The system can be armed to Away/Night/Vacation/Day mode by touching the button.

Press the Control icon on the bottom to go to the Control Page. The state of Appliances can also be  shown.

To view cameras, check "Open Cameras With IP Cam Viewer" You will be prompted to download IP Cam Viewer in the app store. Select brand and model in IP Cam Viewer so that you can use camera in IP Cam Viewer.

If you have further questions, please post on the forum or  email to support@cytech.biz

The control menu items can be seen as toggle buttons which reflect their state. Pressing the button will toggle the state ie On to off and Off to On

In order to be able to get the app to display like this, the Control menu must be programmed as follows

See http://www.comfortforums.com/forum126/4071.html for instructions to program the Control Menu by Comfigurator

In the Control Menu, the words for action key 0 should be Off and action key 1 should be On.

You must have a feedback type as Flag, Zone, Output or Counter

eg Bedroom Light

Feedback Type = Counter 1
Action Key 0 word = off (not "light off")

Action Key 1 word = On (not "light On")

save the file and send to your phone again

close the app before tapping on the jrlcclx attachment

To get the On/off icons showing correctly in the app, it is important that the Control menu be configured correctly.

First each Control Key should have feedback assigned
For example Control Group 0 Lights, Control Key 1 is Porch Lights
The Feedback for Porch Light is Output Porch Light
The feedback allows the app to know if the device is on or off.

Next the action key should be 0 for Off, 1 for ON

NOT the reverse 0 for ON 1 for Off as that will result in the wrong feedback state

See Instrutions for programming the Control menu at http://www.comfortforums.com/forum126/4071.html
