Hello,

I am thinking of installing an alarm system that is capable of switching my lightwaverf equipment. I know this requires the universal UCM+ETH03 modules, but I wonder whether these can only be connected to the Ultra version or also to the Optimum one?

Also would you recommend the Ultra above the Optimum as this might be the better choice for security/home automation? It states that:

"Optimum is an advanced Intruder alarm system with a limited set of home automation capabilities"

So how limited is it compared to the Ultra?

Thanks for your help.

Both ULTRA and OPTimum could be used, OPTimum is limited in some properties e.g. outputs(OPTimum : 16/ ULTRA :216). Control menu groups(OPTimum :1/ULTRA :6)
For more information you may refer specifications of ULTRA and OPTimum
