Hi,

Whilst I was working away, my wife informed me that she was receiving a tamper alarm and the back door keypad (KP06) felt loose. The only thing that she was able to do was power down the system.

I have returned and re-secured the keypad, but on boot up the keypads alarm, and the front door keypad reports "Wrong Text push *1 together". Once I have done that, the keypad reports engineer sign in option is off. I have locally enabled engineer sign in, and pushed *1 and nothing happens.

I tried to write a enable & re-code the engineer sign in code from comfigurator, but I receive the attached error message.

Can you advised what has happened and how I resolve this - thanks!

Iain

Hi, I think you need to do a vocabulary upgrade first, then press "* and 1" together on keypad to synchronize text again.

For vocabulary upgrade, you may follow the steps in this link http://www.comfortforums.com/forum76/1623.html

Before doing the vocab upgrade, check if the keypad has voice. enter your code on the keypad. You should hear the voice say Security Off and the user menu. If there is no voice despite signing in with the correct code, then the voice has been lost

Try resetting the Comfort. Sometimes this gets the voice back. In Comfigurator, do Transfer > Reset.

Sorry Slychiu and Martin,

Jusr realised that I hadn't responded to this (for the benefit of other users).
When I returned the front door keypad, had a "wrong text" and the rear door keypad, was off completely.
I disconnected the rear door keypad, and upgraded the vocabulary as suggested above. After about 20 mins, the system was reset, and the text on the keypad returned to normal. The rear door keypad was reconnected and worked fine too.
Thanks to the above for the help.
