I am using 3 SEM complete with 4 LEM, i plan use sensors and devices third party connected to the output about more than 20 : microwave sensor, selenoid valve, relays, IR Fence beams..
1. Its possible to power all devices connected to comfort that need  external power by powering them from  12V / S12V port , isnt it ?
2. I read about this port only powering maximum 1 amp for all devices connected to controller or SEM ..This is limitation for one SEM or for all devices connected ?

Yes. Power from 12V S12V can be switched off and on by response so be careful

Eacch comfort and SEM can supply 1 AIf you have Comfort and 5 SEM then it can supply 6 Amps

Sound like you are looking at adding a lot of 12v equipment. Why not get a seperate 12V supply and reduce the risk of drawing to much power away from comfort, here is a link that should give you an idea of what to get. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/9-Way-Port-10A-12V-CCTV-PSU-Power-Supply-Cabinet-Box-for-Camera-System-Kit-/111562346870?hash=item19f9a25176 Depending on your requirements you can get different panels with more or less terminals and also idfferent amp output ratings. You can also get rack mounted 12v psu (these tend to be extremeley expensive though)

If alarm sensors are to be powered by external 12V, these should also be battery backed up
Comfort will report power failure and low battery on its own power as well as its slaves, which is more convenient

Had a system crash green lights on sem and main board none of the components are lit up at all RPI GSM Ethernet. it looks as though no power is going to them at all as is the SCS swiches & RIO01

Cant figure out why it wont supply power tried addint independent power on ethernet powered up for a few seconds and shuts down
Any ideas

How about the leds on the main comfort? Can you check the 12V output from the 12V and COM from Comfort?

There may be overcurrent or short circuit on the 12V output supplying slaves and keypads etc  This causes the voltagfe to go to the low level you measured. Remove all dvices eg UCM, Keypads etc that use 12V from Comfort, then check if the 12V recovers. You may have to wait a few minutes as the resettable fuses must cool down before the voltafg can recover

The old big transformer or the new DC15 V power supply?
Are you measureing DC or AC. If you use the big transformer you should measure AC, If using the new Meanwell dc supply you should measure DC

With the sem disconected and the ethernet conected to the Sem the ethernet lights come on but as soon as connected to main board it all shuts down

System does not with the sem disconected, i replaced the sem board yesterday will try the old one back in there in all likelihood I would say it was the main board that is knocking everything out

I believe I have located the fault, although everything was disconected I realised that there was a black and red cable connected to the 12V/COM which I overlooked. Removed the cable and reconnected the ethernet & RPI which both then fired up, these cables have never been touched in the last ten years so I will replace those and let you know tha outcome in a few days. Thanks for your insight

Have mangaged to get it u and running for the most part, however cannot quite get the scs6 to stop flashing once they are pressed, the same programming has not changed and they do work to a point some things still not responding which I will takle later on but how do I get the scs6 led lights to stop flashing anyone know, its not a case of removing the power from the scs6 and putting back! this seems to have developed as a fault on all of them
