I have tried to connect to Comfort today using Comfigurator but I get an error message saying 'No response from UCM'. So far as I can see the network address is the same in Settings as it is in the DS Manager window. I seem to be able to communicate with the Tibbo module using DS Manager without a problem. The UCM and Comfort are in a locked cupboard that nobody has been anywhere near for weeks so nothing has been physically moved. Can anyone suggest what the problem might be? I have tried resetting Comfort using the reset button and using the engineer menu. I have also tried re-installing Comfigurator, but neither has fixed the problem. Many thanks for any suggestions. Guy

My money is on it being windows firewall or Antivirus suite. Can you disable for a few minutes or so just to check as if so you maybe need to add an exclusion rule or something.

Thanks for the suggestion. I have turned off my BT/MacAffee firewall and tried again, but unfortunately I get the same message as before.
In the UCM I/O monitor window I just see a red > LI**** and then nothing.

Can you 'ping' the ip address from your computer? What is your ip address?

Thanks for the query. Yes I can ping the address. My PC and the Tibbo device both have a fixed ip addresses which have not changed since the device was last working properly.

I remember that in DS Manager, you can select the baud rate. Make sure it is 9600 baud 0 parity, 8 bits
It may be the UCM is not comunicating with Comfort due to its IDCheck the D9 (Red) and D10 (Green) leds are blinking which shows it is being polled by Comfort and is replying. If not check the ID is set to 1 and reset the UCM
