Hello, we are having problems with keypads, they do not speak and text on display says "press *1 to sync text" and it doesn't work. I tried to update vocabulary and error 6 shows up. I disconnected the KA and KB from CP and still nothing. This is from monitoring:[

What is the Comfort and UCM firmware?
Make sure they are upgraded to the latest  versions

See http://www.comfortforums.com/forum127/4284.html for instructions on upgrading

I upgraded all to the latest versions and still same error 6. We have 2 keypads KP04A, ucm eth03, knx, gsm, dm02 for door station, 3 SEMs, 4 LEMs, 3 RIOs. I restarted the system a tried again and still same error. Is there anything else to do?

Hi again, we have new problems with this system. We replaced comfort II and keypads now work fine but for the second time now the whole system went down. First time we disconnected all UCMs and RIOs and we put power back on and it worked and then we connected rest of the parts one by one and it worked normally for 2 weeks and today it happened again but disconnecting UCMs and RIOs did not work. We took power off and on and it starts to get up and then shuts down.

Can you read the Event Log which will show the events that happenedThis problem is not related to the orignal voice lost issue
It looks like there is a problem with the bus. Perhaps it may be shorted which causes communications to be lost
Remove the devices like rio, ucm keypads etc one by one and see if the communications recovers
Connect a UCM and log in using Comfigurator so do not remove the UCMLog in with UCM and look at the UCM IO at the bottom of the screen The messages  will show when communications is lost or receivered

It seems to be problem with one wire that goes to 12V because main board is getting too hot and shouts down when that wire is connected and without that wire it works normally so we have to check our wiring. Strange thing is that it all worked for 2 months.

Comfort is built with resettable fuses which activate when there is excessive current to protect the circuity. After the short is removed the fuse will recover
You will find that something is drawing high current or causing  short circuit
