My GSM4, firmware version 7.053, with a SIM card (with no PIN), with "normal/no error" information in the bottom of comfigurator, green LED ON and red LEDs OFF, does not "write to EEPROM", giving the error: "error writing configuration".

Can you take a photo of the UCM/GSM and send to support@cytech.biz
And do a "Scan of Modules", save the cclx file and send to the same email address as well

The photo and cclx file appear to have no problems
The UCM/GSM4 is the right type
However the UCM firmware 6.012 is quite old and this may be not compatible with the UCM/GSM4
Please upgrade by right clicking on the UCM at ID1 and selecting Check for Upgrades
