I have read that it is possible to interface between Zwave and Vera.....I have tried Smartthings with no joy through the universal sensor connected to an alarm output. Can anyone talk me through the basics of connecting to Vera and what is required. For example do I need to add a Z-Wave UCM to Comfort? Also what is achievable, e.g can Comfort tell Vera which wired sensor is active? Any help REALLY appreciated.

For comfort to interface with Zwave, you need to add the UCM/Zwave

The UCM/Zwave allows comfort to control Zwave as well as the other way round, ie it is 2 way

You can get the Comfort zone to send status to a Zwave node

Comfort is able to send commands to control zwave devices
Zwave devices are able to control anything in Comfort using association

The UCM/Zwave manual will explain all, from
