Hi I have a Comfort on the network that has been working fine for the last 7 years, but has suddenly dropped connection from the network.
I can still ping the unit on the IP address I expect at it responds, but the CSM will not recognise it.
On the unit the Green D103 is flashing 2 blips and the D104 is off.
Any ideas on how to get it back to life?
Thanks

For ETH01 you need to use DS Manager not CS Manager
D103 flashing 2 times, D104 off means connection is closed see ucm/et01 manual
chexk that D9 red and D10 green on UCM baseboard are both blinking

Hi Chiu
DS Manager does not find the device either, although a Netscan sees the IP and I can Ping it. I have disabled the firewall on my router although not sure if that should make a difference as I am working within the LAN.
I read that those LEDs mean that the connection is closed, but not sure what that means or what to do about it.
Up until now the ethernet connection has been rock solid and have not had any problems connecting.
The only thing that I have changed recently is trying to access the system from the Android Tablet App and that did not work and subsequently the Ethernet has gone down. Not sure if the two are related.
Thanks

OK,
I have done nothing, but Comfigurator now connects OK, but the DS Manager still cannot see the ETH01 on the network.
Things seem to be back to normal, although unsure what happened or why the DS Manager cannot see the interface.
Is this looking like an age related failure of the ETH01 module?
Thanks

Perhaps something is filtering broadcasts as the DS Manager sends a broadcast packet on the local LAN to find the Eth01 module. Just check to see if you are running DS Manager on the same subnet as the Eth01 and that the PC has the correct mask as this will influence the message sent by DS Manager.
