I hope comfort can be compatible https://madeby.google.com/home/ and https://www.amazon.com/Amazon-Echo-Bluetooth-Speaker-with-WiFi-Alexa/dp/B00X4WHP5E
For the time being i will use smartthings https://www.smartthings.com/ as bridge to acces comfort

the smartthings still on the way from korea :). It has zwave controller inside, at several forum how to control fibaro ( my swave main controller ) using smartthings as bridge or direcly control zwave devices. Its not the only way, using raspberry also possible. This is you mean by Matt interface, isn't it ?

My system now, allready installed UCM zwave and Fibaro system , so now i try to program all devices and responses in my comfort network can be controlled by fibaro.  i hope is right or more simple approach ..in order connecting comfort to google home/amazon echo

nice ...already discussion about amazon echo... so is great if comfort become fully compatible directly to google home/amazon echo.

Anyway while waiting that wish, i plan to control comfort network using fibaro as first bridge and smartthings as second bridge to communicate with google home/amazon echo. My steps :
1. make all devices and responses mirroring to zwave invironment by creating virtual node for them at UCM zwave. So all comfort devices I can see at fibaro
2. using smartthings to cover all all devices/responses at fibaro/UCM swave
3. control them using google home/amazon echo

Zwave has nothing to do with Amazon echo
Zwave is for controlling Zwave products
Follow the forum by Matt brain and alhawerks for alexa control

Yes I already use Matt's interface and work well.  But if UCM zwave can be upgraded ..It also can be alternative as interface to smartthings ...And It mean comfort can controlled by Amazon Alexa or Google home

The interface we have developed so far requires SmartThings but we are working on a native interface which will be a UCM solution directly communicating with Amazon Echo/Alexa and Google Home. This is currently under development with support from Cytech.

We'll announce more as the development progresses, but rest assured it is in development as we speak.

Thanks,

Matt

Hi Matt ,

I very happy to know about the development. My suggestion , if possible create that UCM like smartthings , that has many interface inside ( incl zwave ). So the system will simple and powerfull.

In other side UCM zwave has limitation to accomodate all commands from zwave environment  and not compatible with some zwave product in the market. So if the comfort  system design like mine, that has many zwave devices connected, i will still need smartthings as interface to amazon alexa/google home .

The pros of comfort , because capability as integrator system ... that is strong point at home automation market segment . So all ucm better has powerfull features or easy to update with the other environment system, such as  zwave environment

My system is not good sample , it  has 6 Slave Expansion, 3 UCM, 3 IRIO ... i need order special case for that, need almost 3 X 2 m2 wall space . I like to see it , because my hobby is IT , but for ordinary user will be too complex system .

just suggestion from user point of view .. if possible..
