To get the community version of the system up and running, do the following: 1. Make sure you have all the equipment listed in the Requirements topic 2. Download the latest release from the Releases topic 3.Create an SD card by unzipping the download and writing it to an SD card; detailed instructions can be found here (Windows, Mac OSX, Linux) - instructions courtesy of the Raspberry Pi Foundation. 4. Insert the SD Card into the Raspberry Pi, plug it in to the network and power and wait 2 minutes for it to boot. 5. Using a web-browser on your PC, navigate to http://alpha-uhai.local You should now be able continue the installation following the instructions shown by clicking the instructions button.
If the browser is unable to find the Raspberry Pi, it is likely because your PC doesn't support mDNS. You may also be able to navigate to the Raspberry Pi directly by getting it's IP address from your routers DHCP client list, e.g. http://192.168.1.20
