Hi,

Can anyone let me know if new versions of the SCS are being looked at and replaced. Think the ones currently on offer look a bit dated and could do with modernisation :)

Thanks

The SCS is no longer sold, due to said old design. We are looking at new altyernatives, possibily the ELV switches used with the HIO Hotel I/O system

Good news. The ELV switches look much better. Would they still act as a scs? any time scales?

The ELV switches are basically 5V leds and momentary switches
You can connect to an Output and Input of Comfort and use Input responses and output actions to drive the led

Or you can use the HIO which makes it easy for programming as you can mao the buttons to flags and counters

There are various manufacturers of ELV switches so you will have more choice They should be available soon.

The SCS was a useful addition to the range though with the ease of integration of LEDs for feedback etc etc I think it's a shame they have gone.

The reasons for dropping the SCS were
  1. They look outdated, at least that what some people say
  2. The switch manufacturer (Gira) stopped supplying the parts
  3. There was not much in sales  for them
