PLEASE CAN WE HAVE THE OPTION OF FEEDBACK ON THE APP CONTROL MENU.

IF you are using the app remotely then not having feedback renders the control side useless.
The customer needs to be aware of their actions - so in its most basic form switch light off ( is the light actually off !!!!!) if you carry this through to heating or gate door control and irrigation etc..........

What do you mean, on each of the control menu items ?
If that is what you mean, then you can, you just assign a flag or output to the item status in comfigurator.
I thought there was a post in here saying how to do this, had a quick look and cant see it though. How to do this for flags is detailed in the IRIO instructions, as they use flags to control them.

All of my control items that are only on/off show whether they are - err - on or off using this method. ;-)
Its only things that arent on/off that have a drop down menu and don't show status.

Take a look at the following thread, the pictures towards the bottom show what I mean (green button shows on)
http://www.comfortforums.com/forum110/3864.html

Hope that helps.

Thanks
I'm aware of how to obtain the feed back
What is NOT clear is IF the feedback is available on the android devices - my S6 does t show the same screens as indicated in you post string there are NO buttons the RHS (so no way of (as far as I can see) getting feedback.
When I'm next with S6 ill post some screen shots.

Feedback can be seen on the app locally or remotely provided you have selected the feedback register in the Control Menu. If feedback is not programmed then you will not see it in the app.

I use the android and i can see what is activated against what is not, Not sure if that is the feedback you are refering to. However I did prefer using the gen 1 android app but I can no longer get it to work.

The feedback function is ONLY actionable on the top layer of the tree.... !
So if you have (say) lights menu with 10 commands below this ( 0-9) the the feed back is only available for lights menu! and not for the individual functions below this !

So I have a menu called lights menu. The light switch buttons are on a toggle Below this I have 0 - Hall light on/off1 - Lounge light on/off
etcetc
Understandably I want to be able to have feedback to tell me that 0 Hall light is OFF (or On). If I cannot offer the customer his basic level of functionality then its a waste of time.
But then again maybe i have missed something !

Yes you have missed something.
The design of the Control menu has always been like this from the very beginning

Each Control Key has one feedback status. The Control key is meant to supply the status of ONE appliance eg Lounge light
Under the control menu there are actions 0 to 9 eg off, on, toggle dim, bright etc which are the actions used for that appliance.
The control key feedback is the status of this set of actions eg off, on , toggle dim, etc

You are not supposed to  add different appliances in the same control menu if you want status for all of them.

Use a different control key for different appliances, eg

Each control key allows you to get the status of the appliance by its feedback register

There are 6 Groups with 10 control keys so there are enough places for you to group the appliances with proper feedback for each.

With the correct structure, your app is also  able to give the status of each of the devices you control

This is also explained in the forum
http://www.comfortforums.com/forum126/4071.html

If I cannot offer the customer his basic level of functionality then its a waste of time.
I suggest you reprogram accordingly to give your customers a better experience

OK  - I could rant on about the layout and structure of this but I'm aware that its historical and is driven by the voice menu on comfort.
The use of 6 menus with 10 commands in does of course not mean that you have 60 readily available commands as if I have (say) 11 lighting functions then I would be into lights menu "2" leaving me only 40 commands etc etc. Conversely there is no way you are going to use all of the 0 to * functions available under each part of the menu - you example shows 1 on 2 off  e.g. 2 out of a possible 11 used.

The way that automation controllers have come to be set up is that they will offer the ability for the customer to group a set of commands into either the room or the function and sort the same. So in the case of a 'simple' light switch it could be grouped under the room command OR it could be grouped under the lighting command. Weather its on or off or dimmed or there is feedback on the button is part of the embedded program that would then also determine if the icon was a button switch (for on/off) or a slider (for dim).
So in the case of my particular customer who had 30+ lighting circuits, 12 blinds 4 doors, and 4 x 4 zones of irrigation I'm going to struggle with the Comfort app set up.

Withe the control ,menu structure there is nothing to prevent you from putting the same light into a room group or Lighting groupAssuming 6 groups with 10 control keys you can control 60 appliancesThis is still more than enough to place 30+ lighting circuits, 12 blinds 4 doors, and 4 x 4 zones of irrigation. You should try it firstIt is possible to expand to 8 grpoups but nobody has really needed it yet
