Mr VERY annoyed here........
Ive just come form a customers site after we installed a basic comfort alarm last week - i had left it un-commissioned because I had a very strange problem with a smoke sensor.
It turns out that the smoke sensor was not latching the relay due to comfort voltage being too low...... WHY.
The new switch mode power supply although delivering 14V ac to the CPU was only giving 10.8v to comfort power (nothing connected) and even less once other components were added.
PLEASE TELL ME THAT YOU HAVE TESTED THESE UNITS AND HAVE SOME ON SOAK TEST ETC ETC ETC...
I will now have to go back to site again with an old transformer.
I thought you were aware from previous correspondence that the new 15V DC power supply is DC 15V, not 14 VAC, and it cannot be plugged into the CM9000 which requires a 14 V AC Tranformer
The DC power supply and 14V AC transformer are not equivalent
The new SEP01C comes with a new hookup diagram, an info sheet telling the differentce nbetween new and old slaves especially the power supply, and a complete manual explaingin everything in full
