I, i have the "arm Away method" set to "After exit delay". and sometimes after send to the alarm the "Away" command and starting the arming i get a arm failure before the exit time runs out andi don't understand why.
What can cause a arm failure before time runs out?

Check the event log. When there is an arm failure, the zone which caused the arm failure is also recorded
However the firmware should be recent version 7 to support this event log reporting of arm failure zone

see  http://www.comfortforums.com/forum72/1849.html for event log in arm failure

Its a zone that trigger the arm fail , but the log doesn't give enough info. The Exit door takes a long time to open and close. So usually the command to set the away mode is send with the door already open. And doing experiments with a zone set as a final door , and some times the arm fail only happens after the exit time is suppose to run out , other times it happens right away after starting the arming away.
From my understanding and i might be mistaken, having to arm away set to "after exit delay" arm fail is suppose to happen after the exit time runs out.  So When Zones are open when the alarm is arming , what triggers the arm fail

For exit delay arming, system will arm after exit delay if no zones are triggered. a 254 hour zone activate like Tamper cooul.d termin ate the arming
The event log always gives the zone which caused the arm failure.  se http://www.comfortforums.com/forum72/1849.html
ePlease send the cclx file and the event log to support@cytech.biz
