When you have a failure during upgrade there is a message "Continue from last addrress? Pres yes and the upgrade will continue
If it does not for any reason repeat the upgrade. It should work unless there is an issue with the UCM
Also you can do the firmware upgrade using the UCM Firmware Upgrading cable

In the forum "Firmware Upgrading Problems" http://www.comfortforums.com/forum111/2967.html it advises to immediately do the upgrade again if there is a failure

The other way using the UCM Firmware upgrading cable is described here http://www.comfortforums.com/forum4/1216.html

This should work for a system which has corrupted firmware upgrade

It seems you may be trying to log in. Do Not Log in
Remember to Short PP2 shunt before trying

Go to Transfer > Firmware Upgrade using UCM Firmware cable
Then select the File
The upgrade will start

This is an update on the problem reported.

UCM/ETH02 does not work when upgrading Firmware by right-Clicking on the module and selecting Upgrade. UCM/ETH02 was discontinued many years ago and does not support this newer function. This is why the initial Firmware upgrade did not work.

UCM/Eth02 can only do the upgrade by UCM Firmware Upgrade cable. This method managed to upgrade the ULT Firmware and get the system back to normal

Upgraded to ETH03. all went well and unit is getting IP address. When i scan for modules i get the message
---------------------------
Comfigurator
---------------------------
Failed to connect to UCM - please check the UCM Connection Settings
---------------------------
When i go back into the ETH03 it has the IP address and is at current software version.
