I am trying to create a response to change a virtual input. The virtual input is set up, along with several others. When I go to the response wizard and use Insert new action/Input/Virtual Input On/Off I get a dialogue box pop up. In that dialogue box is a drop down list for Zone. When I open the drop down list I see my physical zones and unused zones, but I do not see the Virtual input zones.Am I misunderstanding how this works, or am I missing something?Cheers

This is supposed to select Virtual Inputs and not physical Inputs.

But first the input must be Virtual. Virtual Inputs have to be configured as such by one of the external UCMs and not in Comfigurator

It may be a bug in Comfigurator. We are looking into it

Can I check the progress of this? I see it is still an issue in the latest update of Comfigurator.

Its confirmed to be a comfigurator but but it will take some time to fix. Can you find anothwr way to accomplish this. What is it you want to do wth this scenario?

Thank you for your response. I am experimenting with getting a change in Comfort recognised in my HomeSeer software with the hardware I already have. Homeseer recognises the state of Zones/Inputs. If I can alter the state from within a Response then I can 'see' that altered state in Homeseer.

We have just had a major version of comfigurator released ie 3.13.5 so I am afraid that it will be several months before we can get the next version done especially when we are affected by Covid 19 restrictions.

I hope you can think of another way to acheve this, for example to trigger an Output instead of a Virtual  input

I can trigger an output but still haven't found a suitable way to connect from a Comfort Output to my Homeseer setup which runs in a virtual machine.

I found a solution.
I have a Python script that established communication with Comfort. I have an MQTT broker that links to the script and HomeSeer.

I've been scratching my head for sometime on this and left it a month, to see if anything came up on the forum. I just opened another PC, with an earlier Configurator and everything works fine. On the new  3.13.5 version, there are loads of things omitted on the Miscellaneous Events tab, which have caused many things not to work.  See the attached .pdf of both for comparison. Is it possible to download the last working version of Configurator?

There is no need to downgrade to a old version. In the new features in 3.13.5 in the forum..

Please note that in 3.13.5, the Security Mode Responses (Away, Night, Day, Security Off) have been moved from Miscellaneous Events to Partition Events, so that they are groups with other events pertaining to Partitions, eg Siren Output."

Thank you for that, I didn't see the original post.  Comfigurator  3.13.5 did not read any settings in Away, Night Day, Security Off and User login responses, putting them in the new locations. I have put the appropriate responses in manually again and all is now sorted and working again Thanks Graham
