Hi,
I bought a Comfort system many years ago but for various reasons I am only getting to install it now. I apologize in advance if my question is answered somewhere on the forum but cannot find any recent posts on this topic.
I understand Comfort can interface with many 4rd party systems such as ZWave, KNX, C-Bus etc., but devices for these systems seem very expensive compared to the zigbee, Tuya Smart type devices currently available.
Does Comfort have a UCM or other capability to interface with such devices? I see that back in 2006 there was some focus on the UCM/Pi but have things moved on since then?
Thanks,Paul
PS: thanks to the Comfort team and the many forum users because its been very helpful as I installed my system.

I use HomeSeer. With a python script picking up any changes in Comfort I can interface with just about anything.

Thanks a lot Ian.
I'm not familiar with HomeSeer but I will look at their web Site and try to educate myself as to what it can do and what kind of hub (HomeTroller Plus?) and interfaces I would need; I see already there are UK suppliers of the HomeSeer products, so that's good. Its comforting to know there is an option that would allow me to use some of the less expensive smart switches and other products that are becoming available.
Thanks againPaul

I run the HomeSeer software in a VM on a server that runs 24/7, it can also be run on a Pi. The python scrip to interface with Comfort can be found on Github by author Koochyrat; Khor Chin Heong (koochyrat@gmail.com). Koochyrat is mentioned on this forum :-)If you choose this route and need any help, give me a shout.
