I have a replacement laptop that has the same OS Build as my old laptop (19043.1165), but on the replacement laptop I get an error when I try to enable Framework 3.5 (Error code 0x8024401C). With this I cannot install Comfigurator. |

This is probably because your win 10 installation image/media is now offline? Find and mount an installation image and execute this from an elevated command prompt: DISM /Online /Enable-Feature /FeatureName:NetFx3 /All /LimitAccess /Source:d:sourcessxs Make your source (in this example the d drive) match the drive letter you mounted. I had a similar issue when I got my Windows 10 laptop. I was getting an error when trying to enable Framework 3.5 and couldn't install Comfigurator. It was probably because the Win 10 installation image/media was offline, as suggested. Basically, I did some research and found a solution on Reddit. Ensure that the drive letter you've specified matches the letter of the drive you've mounted. It's frustrating to have problems with a new computer, but I'm glad I was able to find a solution. And don't forget to check out the reddit windows key for good deals on the operating system. Last edited on Monday Feb 13th, 2023 03:29 pm by garnerhannah |
