Sure it’s old but still otherwise works very well, except the back light has got very dim. Any way to fix this/part I can replace to brighten it up?

This  was based on the old Clipsal Touchscreen. which was obsoleted more than 10 or 15 years ago. So I am afraid it cannot be fixed

Right, that’s what I was assuming, but was wondering if there was some kind of hack to fix it, if it was a common problem back then. I have also installed a KT03 at another property that seems to be doing ok.

It’s a while since I’ve been on the forum or needed to fix a component. Is there a modern colour touch screen available today or am I pretty much restricted to replacing it with a KT03?

Unfortunately KT03 is also obsolete, as is KT05. The touchscreens become  obsolete quickly due to the technology.
I suggest a modbus touchscreen like DOP107BV https://www.deltaww.com/en-us/products/Touch-Panel-HMI-Human-Machine-Interfaces/4686
You need a ucm/modbus-485 to connect with it. We can supply this as a package

Thanks, the link didn’t work but I found a few on eBay.

Where can I purchase the UCM?
