Hi after finally upgrading the whole of my system with a new Main Board, 2 New Slaves and New UCMs I and trying to snag a few problem.
The first of which is connection issues to The ETH3
I have had issues when connecting via the iPhone app in that as I am trying to either or disarm it will quite often comes up with Dismiss or Login again.
I went into Server manager to see if I could resolve the issue and have found I cannot edit any of the info and the following items in Server manager are flashing rapidly.
Any ideas on what can be causing this?

Sorry for not replying sooner, my wife was taken seriously ill so did not have time to try.
I have done the reset as described a couple of times, still the same I am afraid, after resetting the Eth03 it did disappear from the module list until I shut and re-opened Configurator
Any advice as what to try next?

Regards
Joules

Hi Joules, I hope your wife is OK
It could be the detection by comfort server manager is interrupted, but can you log in to comfigurator using the IP address. Tr to write and read from comfort. Does that work?

Hi Chiu,
Wife doing Ok, she is out of hospital now.
I can login using the Eth03 UCM 01 and change and download to Comfort
I can also login on my iPhone and set the Alarm, (the only issue I have is it sometimes drops the connection as explained above.
I am not sure if I mentioned the Eth03 is connected directly to the Comfort Main board and not on a UCM baseboard...not sure if that makes a difference.
Also My Serial  232 UCM used to have the ID 01 but had to change it to 02 when I put the Eth03 into the system. ( As the one mounted on the Mainboard has to be 01?
The DIP switches are set correctly on the RS232 UCM and it reports as 02 in configurator
Wondered if it was worth powering down and removing the ETH03 and trying again?
Regards
Joules

Hi Joules
The eth03 that is plugged in to your CM9001 does not have a UCM ID, as it is built in to the CM9001. In fact it it has an ID of 01, while the UCMs have IDs of 11Hex (UCM ID#1) to 18Hex (UCM ID#8). So your UCM/232 can have a UCM ID of 1 without any conflict if you wish. You can leave the UCM ID #1 empty as this will not cause an RS485  communications failure alarm.
The iOS app does sometimes lose connection, I am not sure if it is due to the issue here. I doubt that powering down the CM9001 would help as it seems to be a network connection issue.

The other possibility is a faulty ETH03 but I am not sure it that is the case. If this occaional disconnection can be tolerated I suggest to leave it. Perhaps you can consider the Home Assistnt app with Rasberry Pi which will give you a better app experience see http://www.comfortforums.com/forum143/

Hi Chiu,

Ok, so is the Issue that I have set the RS232 UCM as ID 02? Should the Eth03 that is plugged into the mainboard show up as a UCM in the module list as per my configurator screenshot.
Apart from the dropping connection my other problem is I cannot edit anything in the server manager where it just flashes rapidly.

No, setting the UCM/232 as ID2 should not affect the eth03 on CM9001
Comfigurator sometumes gets cinfused about the eth03 plugged unto the CM9001, t should report the UCM in Controller properties not ucm properties, but that does not cause the problemI suggest to getr another ETH03 submoduleto plug on to the UCM/232 to replace the rs232 if you are not using the Rs232 anymore This will confirm if the original ETH03 is faulty

Hi Chiu,
Spent the £80 odd to buy another ET03, fitted it to the Spare UCM base board I have ( I still use the Serial 232 to send messages to and from my Homevision system)
I removed the original Eth03 from the comfort mainboard and connected the UCM via a spare slot on the ADM02, still get the same results...Comfort server manager still flashing.
The only difference was that I the iPhone App would open and close straight away with the the ethernet cable plugged into the Etho3?
I am wondering if this might be a wiring issue.......since I replaced the whole of the system and added two Slave Expansion modules I have also had the following Issues that I am still to resolve.....the Volume on both Keypads is very low compared to what is used to be I have raised the levels in the setting but has made no difference. The other issue is I cannot hear people on the door station when the doorbell is pressed.
I have also noticed that in configurator the UCM Logo in the corner also pulses...is this normal?
Regards
Joules

You mean you have the same problem now on both eth03 plugged in to different boards?
That seems like a network issue or perhaps the power supply is intermittent? or something interfering with the connections?
UCM logo flashing is not normal

But you can use comfigurator to write and rad to comfort without getting interrupted? Maybe the problem is with the iphone?

Hi Chiu,
Yes, different ET03s plugged into separate base board and plugged into Comfort main board cause same issue of the][size=the flashing in Comfort Server manager. Can read and download into Comfort Ok

iPhone app works fine with the ETH03 plugged into comfort main board, don't think iPhone is issue and defiantly wouldn't cause flashing on Comfort Server Manager.

As stated since the the upgrade of all new comfort main board and adding new Slave Expansion boards new door station module, relay boards and ADM02, I have had issue with low volume on keypads and no mic on door station. One other issue is I cannot get the Strobe to work off one of the remote slave panels.
Think my next step will be to disconnect components to see if it solves the issue.
Regards
Joules
