I would be grateful if I could have clarification on the use of responses.
Under "Miscellaneous Events" we can enter a response under "Away Mode Response" which will be executed when the system is armed to away mode.
Under "Non Detector Alarms" we can enter for "System Armed" an "Alarm Type" which itself can have a response which is programmed to react only in "Away Mode".
Am I right is assuming either or both of these ways can be used to execute a response when armed to away, or is there a difference ?
Are there limitations to either method?
Which takes precedence if they conflict?
Thanks in advance.

All alarm types have their own Responses, including the System Armed and Disarmed Responses
When the system is armed to Away, Night, Day modes or disarmed, each has its own Response
When you arm or disarm the system, first the appropriate Security Mode Response happens, followed by the Alarm type Response
There is no conflict between them, one happens before the other. If one Response turns on a light and the other Response turns it off, that is what will happen
You can use the Alarm Type Response for common actions to be performed when tne system is armed
You can use the Security Mode Responses for actions that happen for each mode. Both can be used
This allows greater flexibility in programming such scenarios
