I knew if you were left to it, you would find a solutionBig Grin

Next problem. the sign in works fine on the local telephone as long as you don\'t go to fast. pressing 6 always works for doorstation but then the 4 to open gate, doesn\'t always work the first time and sometimes you have to press 3 times. it behaves the same from a mobile. i have changed tuning param 83 but it either still does it or stops detecting the login. i have tried changing 45 but nothing changed. I can\'t see anything on the phone system that would relate.
What other tuning parameters can i try?
We have found that the keys 1,4, 7, and * ie all the keys on the left have larger amplitudes compared to other keys. This is why we use 4 for Gate and 7 for Door station. In the case of local phones, the default for Tuning Parameter 83 (AFE Line Gain Local Phone) of 4 is usually too high resulting in saturation of the signal. Reducing it to 3 or 2 should solve the problem. This is a case when the gain for the local phone is too high due to the short distance of the phone from Comfort compared to a remote phone

The parameter for Mobile phone is 88 (AFE Line gain for Remote Phone)
Now this may be too high OR too low in your case. I suggest adjusting it either way and see the result

I took 83 down to 1 with no change. higher than 5 and it stopped working. Will try 88. It does work sometimes on the first press but usually it is the second press on both the local and remote phones.
Are you sure you managed to reduce 83 to  1? Comfigurator limits you to 2 as minimum. Unless you used Location to change it?

It Was on Comfigurator 2.2.3? if not i certainly went to 2!
Could it be the PABX again messiing the with DTMF tones?
did you try connecting the local phone direct to TEL OUT to see if there is a difference

Otherwise it should be a matter of  sensitivity

How about parameter 88 for remote phones Did you adjust it through the  range of numbers?
