I\'m trying to set up a CWM using a direct link with My PC using a crossover cable. I cannot get the browser to see the module. I don\'t have a copy of CWM setup and I can\'t find it on line. Is it possible to dowwnload it from anywhere?

I\'m still drawing a blank on the CWM. I cannot get my PC to find the CWM either directly or using CWM setup. I\'ve tried directly with a crossover cable and with the CWM connected to the LAN. I\'ve turned the firewall off. I\'ve noticed that the lights on the daughter card don\'t do anything so I\'m wondering if there is something more fundamental.
I had the ethernet cable connected before I power up each time. What am I doing wrong?
If you mean the leds next to the RJ45 connector, these are the network indications which should show activity like on your PC RJ45
Are you sure that the power supply to the CWM is connected? This is a switching power supply which plugs to the wall. Comfort supplies power to the UCM on the bottom only
Thank you. That explains a lot. Unfortunately the manual that I have doesn\'t mention that also the photo doesn\'t show the power socket so I must be working from an old manual.. The card was given to me and I didn\'t unpack it. What voltage and polarity does it need.

Sorry, the instructions should have been clearer on this. The new model CWM02 is coming out soon so we shall amend the instructions
The power adaptor should actually be in the CWM box as it is supplied with the product. It is a universal input (90 to 264 V) DC 7V 2 Amps with centre positive. It is not a common voltage so I hope you have the actual one

I am in the factory today so I will try to find it. Unfortunately Glen is on vacation which has been part of my problem!
Could you let me know what the changes in funtionality the new CWM will have. We are planning how we will use it so looking ahead will be useful

The main change would be the use of encryption via SSL
The new CWM is using a more powerful CPU and wity more memory using CF Cards and will have room for additional features in the future
I\'m now powered up and connected via a crossover cable. CWM setup finds the CWM with its default IP but my browser won\'t connect when I enter the IP nor will CWM setup when I click on configure. The browser looks for a while then just stops. No error messages. I connected the ethernet cable before powering up the CWM.
I have disabled the firewall.
Suggestions please
Did you set the port to 80, If you enter the IP address without a port number it will look for port 80
