I have read that the lem\'s from G1 are not compatible with the G2 due to differences in voltage. But does the zones work ok? If so I can leave the lem03 installed while I wait for the lem03-M2.

It is not recommended to use LEM from G1 on G2 as it may sometimes work and sometimes not; this applies for both zones and outputs on the LEM.
