Hi,

I have had a comms problem with my door station which I think I have isolated now to some water damaged tracks on the PCB so it will have to be replaced.  Whilst messing around with the door station I have inadvertently lost all the announced numbers on the menu system over the internal keypads.

For example all it says now is \"Press [gap] to arm security system, [gap] for messsages...\" and so on.

Any ideas what I have done?

I have reloaded the comfigurator file and reset the system to no avail.

Thanks,
Paul.
It appears that the voice may have been corrupted
You need to reload the Vocabulary using the UCM05 and Comfigurator
First upgrade to the latest version of Comfigurator 2.2.3
I assume you have Comfort II, not Comfort I
Start with a Sentence Table Download as the sentences may be corrupt not the whole vocabulary
Then do Transfer > Sentence Table Download
Select kate28.bin You can find kate28.bin from https://www.cytech.biz/Default.aspx?cmd=sQ0OYE9X66w%2b0P%2bAcFsmAI3j73Rwtfrj&fileid=176&dcid=1&pageindex=

When this completes, reset Comfort

If the menu is OK  then fine. If not then do a Vocabulary Download
Transfer > Vocabulary Download and select the same kate28.bin
This takes 20 minutes. Reset after

Thanks.  I will give that a go.
Hi,

I did the sentence table download and the menu had corrected itself now saying every number but the display on the keypad showed \"WRONG TEXT PRESS *1 TO SYN\" so I did the full vocab download and it is still the same.

If I press *1 it doesn\'t do anything.

The vocal menu is fine but the LCD screen on the keypad displays the WRONG TEXT message no matter what I do.

Any suggestions...?

Thanks,
Paul.
The message Press *1 to sync means you must press BOTh * and 1 together, not * followed by 1

That works - Thank you!
