Hi

I would like to use the log file to record when certain zones or RIO inputs are triggered - for example when the side gate to my property (which is connected to an RIO input, but not an alarm zone) is opened and closed; this will tell me when my gardener arrives and leaves. Can anyone tell me if this is possible? I am assuming I can use a spare alarm type and change its behaviour in Comfigurator, but some advice would be much appreciated, particularly as I am not sure whether this approach could be used with an RIO input rather than an alarm zone. It would be great to have a response action \'write text to log file\' for such a purpose although obviously it would have to be used sparingly so as not to flood the log with information.

Thanks

Graham
The event log is designed to capture alarm information only so it ignore RIO inputs
If there is any input that you wish to monitor on the event log you will have to use one of the 64 inputs on Comfort/LEM/Slave
The RIO inputs are also not able to trigger alarms unless you activate a RIO Output to connect to a regular input, in which case you might as well jkust use the regular input

The event log is stored as codes in Comfort\'s memory so it would not be possible to write text to it
