Thats quite simple
In Security > Zones, assign the zone to Zone Type PIR Away
this is active in Away Mode but inactive in Night and Day Modes
To understand how this works go to Security Types > Zone Types and look at the settings of PIR Away Zone Type
You can see it is Disabled in Sec Off, Night and Day Modes and Immediate in Away Mode
PIR Night/Away Zone Type is Immediate in Night and Away Modes and Disabled in Sec Off and Day Modes
Door/Window Zone Type is Immediate in Away, Night and Day Modes
Entry Door zone type is also Immediate in Away, Night and Day Modes but the difference is the \"Entry\" box is checked so it causes an Entry Delay when armed
These are the 4 common Zone types which you need to use in your system

I donââ¬â¢t have comfigurator and so am programming from the keypad. Im looking at \"Table 8 Zone Types\" of the manual. There is no PIR Night/Away type listed but there is a INST Away (18). This is Instant in away mode but inactive in night and day. Shall I use this?
Thanks.
Also my hall PIR is an entry door type and gives me 30 seconds when entering the house in which to turn off the alarm. If activated in night mode will this also give me an entry delay or will it be instant as in away mode. Id like it to give me a delay in order to turn off night mode when I go downstairs.
Thanks for your help.

PIR Away is Zone Type 18
PIR Away/Night is Zone Type 5
An Entry Door opened when armed to any mode will start an Entry delay since the zone type is Immediate in all modes (except Sec Off)
However it is much better to have a Door as the Entry Door zone type. This allows you to use Final Door Arming method rather than Arm After exit delay
Final Door Arming means that the system is armed after the entry door is closed, so you dont have to wait for the end of Exit Delay
