Hi, I\'m still pawing my way through material, but hoped someone could help me out with a question.

How do I attach two bell boxes to a comfort II system? I have a comfort II main panel and a slave panel, both with LEM\'s.

As you can guess I\'m just about to put it all together so any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Bryan
Comfort\'s main Controller  can support 2 bellboxes provided there is a Battery (7AH 12V connected) to supply the extra current when the siren is on

The next firmware release (5.180) will allow the Slave to drive a belbox and Strobe so that will be better still

so just wire the two bell boxes and strobes to the one connector on the comfort main panel?

Does the slave panel already carry the bell and strobe connectors ready for the upgrade?
The answer is Yes to both questions

So few words. So much wisdom ;-)

Thanks.
The bell boxes will have a wiring diagram for joining together and any strap settings. They don\'t just go in parallel to Comfort (from my experience)

Good point. The bellboxes may have their own recommended way to connect when there is more than 1
ah, ok. I think the one\'s I have purchased have come with no documentation. I will try to id a make and model when I get home in the hope someone here could advise?
Got home and took a look. They\'re two CQR Cequra 2\'s.

I found this on wiring comfort to the Cequra. Does this look right?

Can someone comfirm that there\'s a 1k resistor between the +12v Hold Off and the Siren Trig -VE, and Strobe +VE and +12v Hold Off in this diagram?

There is a manual with the bell box that show\'s how to wire two. Thanks for the tip.
The 1K resistors are to be added if the siren sounds when idle due to some leakage. If it does not then they are not needed. The value is not crfitical, you can probably use the 2.7K resistors in the EOL resistor pack
