Hi

I am installing a set of the twin beam sensor.

The system reports  a zone 15 trouble.

I have alligned the sensors as per the manual.

Questions :

1. What zone type (number) should I use ?
2. Do I use the NO or NC contact ?

Thanks

The zone type you use depends on the location and purpose of your active beam sensor.
You can use
  • PIR Immediate Night Away if you want it to trigger an alarm in Night and Away Modes,
  • Door/Window if it is to trigger when armed to any mode (but make sure you can get to the entry door without triggering the alarm
  • 24 Hour NC if it is 24 hours iimmediate
  • Perimeter with Night/Away or 24 hours if an alarm is to occur after another internal zone is tripped (Alert or Immediate) within 10 minutes
N/C contact is recommended for alarm sensors, with double End of Line resistors

Zone Trouble means that you have set the zone as Double EOL ie shunts inserted away from terminal block but no EOL or wromg EOL resistors connected
Hi

Thanks, problem sorted.

Zone 15 had an incorrect shunt.
