Hi,

My system at my holiday house phoned me this afternoon reporting a tamper alarm.

When I listened to the log:

- the first thing I noticed was the time of the events were 12:00AM July 2008 - so the time seems to have reset to the beginning

- the SEM01 & SEM02 both had Communications Failure and Tamper Alarms

- most of the Zones on SEM01 and SEM02 had Trouble Alarms

I disarmed the system, reset it (in engineer menu) and tried to re-arm it.  When I tried to re-arm I got communications failure and trouble again.  Eventually I got \"Arm Failure\" and \"Call Engineer to reset\".

I resert again in Engineer menu and tried to re-arm and got the same as above.

Help would be appreciated.

A Tamper alarm cannot be bypassed to arm the system. It appears that the Slaves have lost communications
In this state the system cannot be armed, it would not be much use if most of the zones are not communicating
You will have to go to check what has happened, perhaps a major lightning strike

Thanks.  It was a bit of a pain, but I did go there.  There was a storm and lightning nearby, but no strikes.

I was able to resurect everything by completly disconnecting from power for a while.

It seems that the systems time is still resetting to 2008 intermitently.  I will monitor.
