I\'ve looked at the screen timeout options - and I dont see an option to disable the timeout.

ie it stays on permanently

Another additional option would be to tie the timeout option to one of more inputs. ie if walking in the hall, or opening the entry door, then turn on the display so you dont have to press the screen just to activate, then put in a code or take an action.
The screen timeout does not have an option to keep on. The next firmware upgrade will allow value 0 to mean never turn off

You can turn on the screen using a Trigger. Trigger means something that is triggered by an event. Look in the Trigger tab.
Events include Doorbell, Alarm State, Alert State, Trouble state, security off, away mode etc and these can trigger Screen on, jump to page etc

There is no event for zones, though, but Alert State and Alarm state is where you would normally want to turn on the screen and jump to the Keypad page so you can enter the code to disarm
