i was clarifying
is there is a way to connect a Lux sensor with analogue output 0-3v to comfort input zone in order to use there value levels.
thanks
Yes, connect the sensor to any Comfort main board or Slave input (but not to LEM Input)
Program the zone is Null Zone Type
You can use the action get Analog Input to read the value from 0 to 255 corresponding to 0 to 3.3 V
what u mean by \"Program the zone is Null Zone Type\" ?
and what will be the postion of zone Jumper ?
In Zone Settings set the Zone type to No Zone Type or blank (at the top of the zone types list)
I forgot to say the zone shunts must be set to Double End of Line Resistors ie Away from the terminal blocks.
thanks, i got what u meant
but i want to clarify one thing
the case that i have, the Lux sensor output is active , means it produce 0-3V according to lux state.
i measure the zone and i found it produce 3V it self, My Q is? could i connect my sensor 3V output to the zone terminal ?
The 3V that you measure is due to an internal pullup resistor
The lux sensor should have a low source resistance so that its voltage can overcome the pullup resistor. what are the specs of the sensor?
it\'s vantage , i don\'t have the type yet, i will post it once i got it , it is at site with one of our engineer , we didn\'t starup the system yet.
one more question, the wiring of lux output voltage, LUXcom(-ve) in to Zone com and (+ve) at the other ?
No the negative of Lux should be to zone COM and the postive voltage to Zone terminal
Zone COM is 0V
