Interesting, where do you get these from? Are the walls plastic or metal?
How does one order one?

I developed these myself some years ago, I was looking at funding to get it tooled up in plastic but unfortunately it never got off the ground.

What you see are all prototypes - we installed quite a lot of them.

I still have all the parts can make one up and send it across to you if you want......

The whole thing is designed to be modular - i once had a comfort set up in a really odd shape - we had master tel ADSL and comfort tel extensions in one enclosure the main pcb in another UCMS in another relays door phone and fire all in different parts of the overall enclosure.....

Yes I have one of these as my main case for Comfort too but just purchased a new Cytech EN03 case for expansion. I must say that my original one which I was I think manufactured in the UK (by now defunct distributer Comfort Home Controls) is noticeably superior in build quality though!!

But we use what we have today.

I suggest to use EN01 instead of EN03 if you do not need to meet EN50131 requirements
It is slightly smaller 310 x 350 x 95 mm instead of 358 x 375 x 95 mm and has a hinged door and key so it is easier to open and close

I\'m struggling a bit with my new EN03 and I guess I would too with the EN01 because of the fact that cable entry points are via the rear cut-outs and there are no top and bottom access points as per my original UK made EN03 variant.

So if I surface mount and feed in cables from the surface via finger trunking then I\'m struggling to feed cables up behind the chassis. OK for alarm cables but it looks like to feed a network cable behind I need to loosen the case from the wall to allow the RJ45 plug clearance.

Fitting not as easy as I was expecting. A few more entry points (as above) in a \"EN03a\" model would be useful in future I\'d say.

Entry points on the side are not allowed by EN50131
You can thank the wisdom of your authorities for introducing these \"standards\"

That is why we recoommend EN01 for those who are not inrerested in complying this EN50131
