Hi,
Today, randomly, the alarm went off in the early hours of the morning. The keypad was complaining about comm failures and zones that were being triggered. This was around 3:00 am in the morning.
When I arrived to check out the event log, there were only events from 07:00 am this morning, nothing before. Normally i would have a couple weeks of recorded events. The events also stated that there were comm failures on keypad 1, keypad 2, keypad 3, UCM 2, Slave 1 and Slave 2. Tried resetting it (turned power off, and back on) and it reset the time back to 06/14 00:00, and again gave errors and started an alarm (fire alarm). I re-uploaded the program and reset the time, and checked event log again, and it showed another fire alarm, but no comm failures... What could be the cause of this?
Thanks,
Chad
Multiple Comms failure alarms are due to a fault on the RS485 Comfort Bus. It could be one of the devices pulling down the bus intermittently
What is the fiirmware of all your modules? Iif you have a cclx file can you send it to support@cytech.biz but make sure you have done a Scan for modules  so all the information is contained within
