EOLs are used at the \'detector end\' of any detector - these will either be discrete resistors or be actually built into the detector itself.
They provide a method of detecting if the cabling to the detector has been tampered with (i.e the resistance changes). EOLs from recollection are either 4.7KOhms or 2.7KOhms.
The Comfort CPU needs to know if you are using EOLs or just setting up as Open or Closed circuit - this is done via the jumper next to the Input you are using (as Ident has mentioned)
The simplest way to check is to measure the resistance of the Flood detector (at the Comfort CPU end). You will need to remove the terminal block that the wires come in from first, from the CPU before doing this.
Bridge the flood detector with some wire and if you have EOLs these will be seen as a Resistance, if not you will just see a few Ohms based on the resistivity of the cable run to the detector.
Running the Input with the incorrect EOL setting may cause issues and potential triggers.
