Hi All,

I am stuck figuring out the connections for wiring a deltabell + bell box.

On the deltabell I have the following connections:

Tamper
Tamper
Eng Hold
STB
Bell
12v +
12v -

I think I have some of the wiring figured out.

Tamper - comfort Tamp
Tamper - Comfort Com linked to 12v-
Eng Hold
STB - Comfort STR -
Bell - Comfort SRN-
12v + Comfort SRN +
12v - Comfort Com linked to Tamper

This still leaves me with 12VF on comfort & Eng hold on Deltabell.

Can anyone tell me what the correct wiring is for this bell box.

Thanks
What is the meaning of Eng Hold? You need to get information from the Deltabell installation manual on this signal. I suspect this does not need to be connected

Thanks, i did read somewhere that it may not need to be connected. Does the rest of the wiring look ok? What is 12vf for and where does it go?
12vf (according to wiring diagram) goes to Strobe +ve (which you don\'t have)
Eng Hold is for installation - it allows you to tamper the bellbox without the siren going off - you will need to refer to the Pyronix manual for guidance.

Are you going for the \'lightbox\' option on that model?
Thanks, I dont know what you mean by lighbox. If you mean the box is litten yes I have that model
Yes it\'s the backlit box (for installer advertising). Be interested to know what the current draw of that feature is in case of loss of power.
Hi i checked online and it stated that in alarm condition it is <300 ma my understanding is that comfort can handle up to 1 amp for bell. So it should handle a couple of these easily
If you planning to run multiple active bellboxes (as I am), then you might want to configure one as SAB and once as SCB. This reduces the current draw on the system, as I expect that ~1amp draw in the event of a mains failure would reduce system operation expectancy.
If you have a Slave expansion panel, with its own standby battery you can connect bellbox to that as well. Each Slave also supplies its own current to detectors and sirens, so it is a good way to distribute the power requirements
