Comfort Automation/ Security System Forums

Hi i am just about to replace my old alarm system with the Comfort system. I have got Virgin fibre optic cable Broadband and Virgin phone through different sockets. Does the Broadband router need to be on same line as the virgin phone line going into the Comfort main panel? Or is the only requirement to connect the phone line to Comfort? I can then connect the Broadband router seperately to the UCM/eth2

Yes you are correct. Just the phone line needs to go into Comfort

Don\'t forget that ideally all tel extensions need to come after Comfort tel out (telephone extensions before comfort tel in will not be able to pick up the comfort tel menu) and in reality putting a telephone master socket after comfort will provide the ringer ((3) orange cable).
