I promised this a while back and finally ....

The following is a write up and .cclx for a multizone underfloor heating system using the TCS (temperature sensor); CBus Relays and the KT03

The document is fairly tidy but there are still lots of irrelevant comments in the Responses. I hope to tidy up in a week or two and will incorporate anything arising from the discussion.

Due to attachment size limitation there will be a following post for the write up. Looks like I need to split it into 2 parts and zip ... actually 4 parts!

.cclx is below
Part 1 of 4
Part 2 of 4
Part 3 of 4

Part 4 of 4

The End!
revised .cclx back in first post.

Enjoy
WOW !

This system has been installed?

Do you have any feedback from the customer?

If you started from scratch or were asked to design another system what would you do differently?

How efficient do you think the overall system is (in terms of energy saving)?

CBUS have their own temperature sensors and time programs/timers - would you consider CBUS as a heating system on its own. Conversely why use CBUS why not just provide good old relays directly it Comfort.

Well done !

Yes and running for well over a year

They seem ok with this. I\'ve not had any comments either way for a long time.

It depends on the circumstances. This configuration was not driven by me so it was a solution to meet a requirement. Comfort & CBus were being specified. It closely matched Webbrick that went bust. Comfort is also driving blinds; window openers etc.

If I started from scratch I would pass the job over to you :-) .....

It was not financially viable as a one off but with the documentation & code now provided it can be repeated knowing that 80% - 90% of the work has been done.
The KT03 is a little \'tight\' on screen space.

How efficient do you think the overall system is (in terms of energy saving)?

Not given this much thought. It is \'infinitely\' customisable though. Given the blinds and window openers are Comfort also the cooling side could be integrated. In summer the Solar PV could be switched to the immersion and probably other stuff.

Wouldn\'t you need a PAC? That would be a new product for me and an extra one on site (2 things to programme). Probably need their touchscreen and then still need the KT03 (door entry)? Some things would still need to be integrated with Comfort.

Well done !

Flattery will get you everywhere....
