GSM 7.029 firmware allows UCM/GSM3 firmware to be upgraded to UCM/GSM4 firmware even though the two types are different
With GSM 7.029 firmware installed, the firmware can be upgraded to UCM/GSM4 firmware
However, a U2 EEPROM 24LC256 is needed in the U2 IC socket and the GSM Submodule needs to be SIM900. See Upgrading information at http://www.comfortforums.com/forum48/3527.html
