If I take an SEP G2 pcb and place a firware upgrade pcb into it does it become a CPU? And visa versa!

 

The SEP (SEM) does not have the DSP functions. Comnfort II consistrs of 2 PCBs, the CPU part and the DSP part. If you plug in a DSP board from a Comfort to the CPU part of the slave, and chnage to a Comfort firmware then you would have a Comfort PCB. The ID shunts must be removed
