Comfort Automation/ Security System Forums

Hi,

I think I may have a faulty input (port 5) on my comfort (older version from 2001). I tired a local loop to see if it fixed the problem, but seems to be stuck on O/C. Happened after a stormy night a while back (my phone line got blown by lightning).

 

Any ideas on how feasible it is to repair this myself or otherwise ? I am based on Ireland.

You can look for any obvious burn marks but there may be little that can be done to repair it unless you have the proper tools and components
Do you have a spare input that can be used? Otherwise if everything else is working you could consider getting another LEM to make up the inputs
