I have noticed that the KP04 back light appears to go out after a timer that appears to be set from the first press of a key?

 

Can the timer either be increased so the light stays on longer

or (preferably)

The back light goes out after a timed period after the last key is pressed.

The backlight does go out 10 seconds after the last key is pressed. We are making a change in future firmware that it will remain on as long as the keypad is being used, and will go out only after the lady says goodbye

Back light goes out after what I believe to be a timer on the first key pressed - or certainly aftrer the code has been entered.

What will the change envolve can I uprade customers existing keypads?
