Can someone explain what the CBUS custom applications are please?

In large projects, 256 lighting groups are not enough, and you can use other application IDs for addtional lighting groups
The new custom applications allows 2 additional Application IDs to be supported
However the firmware for ucm/cbus2 is not released yet

No more improvements at presentTesting is still going on It will proably be a few weeks

So we could use the other default application groups as heating and blinds etc !

yes, provided that  they work similar to Lighting
