I\'ve been experienting.
First I moved the ethernet cable from the switch to the router. Still problems.
I found a long ethernet cable so I was able to go directly from the Eth03 to a network point. Still problems.
Any more thoughts?
I suggest to ask for ajn exchange of the ETH03 in case this one is faulty
is the provlen definately with eth03 and not the vbase UCM board?are you not able to connect to the IP address, or are you unable to see the UP address in CS Manager?

When I can\'t connect I am unable to logon via Comfigurator and unable to see the IP in CS Manager.
I do not know if it is ETH03 or the UCM. Is there a way I can test?
Try to ping to ETH03 IP address. If you cannoty do that, then it shuld be an ETH03 problem
Will do. I think I may have done along the way but to be sure next time it \'goes off\' I\'ll ping.
Update. After my last post I changed the white connecting wire between the main board and the UCM. I have had no connection issue since. It is strange, putting a test meter on the old wire does not find a fault!
Hi, I have a problem on ethernet communication.
I can ping comfort, but comfort server manager does not see it.
On the ethernet connector, red and green leds are on.
I reset the eth03. I disconnect /reconnect the white cable between main board and UCM one. I did it several times. Once I got it back, but it disappeared again . Any other check to do ?

Comfort server manager is sometimes affected by other devices on the network. If you know what IP address and port is assigned you can go ahead to connect by Comfigurator. If you dont know the IP address you can find it on the router. But it could also be a fault on the ETH03, if the actual connection to Homeseer is intermittent. I sugest buyin a ETh03 submodule not the whole UCM
Actually, I am using HA now. The alarm control card was not connected to comfort, and comfigurator was not able to connect to port 1001 or 1002. But I am able to send mqtt messages to comfort from an HA automation.I found I was having a previous comfort mqtt gateway VM running, so , occupying the 1002 port.
My alarm control card stop working when I moved the mctt comfort yaml section from the config file to a package. Probably a format issue, but havent figure yet the issue here. Thanks Chiu
