My Comfort system was struck by lightning few days ago. I have just checked and found the following problems:-

1) one of the Keypad AC is lighting up and totally dead. The keypad buttons are not responding.
2) I also found out 6 of the PIRs are not triggering the alarm when activated.
3) The Keypad also announces “ communication failure “ when I key in the engineer menu password.

Can you please confirm what is the problem urgently.
If there has been a lightning strike, the comfort pcb had probably been damaged and will need to be replaced.
Thanks for the swift response. Now, I also cannot sign in the engineer menu. There is a message on the keypad says “wrong text push *1 together “ what does it means.

PS: I read in the forum that this is to do with vocabulary update first. My problem is I am still using keypad programming and I do not have the configulator. How shall I solve this problem?
It\'s the same problem. The board is probably damaged. If it is vocabulary failure you need a ucm to upgrade the vocabulary . It cannot be done by keypad
